Thanks to all who responded to my request for an article earlier this week. I (re-)learned at least two things from this experience:
(1) OCLC and RLIN, while very helpful, do not necessarily report the full picture of contributing libraries' holdings (plus, not every library contributes to these databases). (2) Ha-Safran is a very effective medium for requests such as the one that I sent. More than one colleague responded right away by offering to send me the article, and so I was able to make one of our faculty members very happy (must keep them happy, you know)... at least until the next time he needs something!
