"Skating Through the Sand" is a documentary about the Israeli National Ice Hockey team and its participation in the World Group "C" Hockey Championships in Johannesburg, South Africa. It depicts how individual players, originally from various countries-Bulgaria, Canada, Romania and Russia, become an Israeli team with pride in themselves and in Israel. It's approximately 45 minutes long and was produced by Northern Sky Entertainment in cooperation with Baton Broadcasting (Canada?) in 1995.
