Dear Ann A worthwhile addition to your list is the film and 1981 Oscar winner, "Chariots of Fire" that deals with the 1924 Paris Olympics and the competition between the Jewish athlete Harold Abrahams and the devout Scottish Protestant Eric Liddell. Incidentally, Harold Abrahams has also to jump a number of anti-Semitic hurdles on his way to the Olympics.
