Can anyone confirm this? Stanley, I didn't read that yet. But ... I just did a search of "Jew" at Google to see what would happen. The first result is the Wikipedia entry for "Jew", which means that the "Google Bomb" campaign that I mentioned in one of my last postings has been tried with earnest AND has succeeded. Quite quickly, I might add. While I am impressed, my feelings about this "victory" are mixed because : (a) I don't like the idea of Google bombs --- even when they are done for the right reasons. GBs are deliberate attempts to circumvent the "natural" way that Google's algorithms are meant to work. It was probably a GB that caused the "jew" search to go to the "Jew Watch" site in the first place. (b) For now, the Wikipedia entry for "Jew" is a positive article, but all it takes to change it into an anti-Semitic article --- even briefly --- is some quick editing by anyone with Internet access. (c) The "Jew watch" website has not been removed from the google database yet. It has only been bumped down to #4 on the list of top 10 results for "jew".
