If the AJL wants to "make a statement" I think it's fine, but let's not kid ourselves that it makes much difference. It would be nice if other organizations - library associations, free-speech groups, Canadian religious groups, etc., made statements! If they all are being silent, I think that's a lot more worrisome. Andrea
