The Marriott is not honoring its contractual obligation to make rooms available until May 24 to the AJL at the $199 rate. You may be assured we are working on this and will have it resolved. In the meantime, it seems that instead of waiting a day or two as was promised earlier today in a conversation with the Brooklyn Marriott's Director of Sales and Marketing David Salfas, they are now refusing to take reservations at the $199 rate. For those who have made reservations at the $289 rate, please send me your confirmation numbers so that we can resolve this problem. Our events manager has said he will work on this with us.
