I would like to put together a list of emotionally grabbing books that show Israel and Jews in a positive light, that goes to children's hearts. It would be nice to include a book on shared American and Jewish values and why it is important to support Israel; on Jewish contributions to this country and the world; any book that tells Israel's story in the Middle East conflict with maps so children can see and understand how small Israel is compared to her neighbors; and any work of fiction that carries a similar theme.
I would like appropriate books for elementary, middle school and high school students. Any help or guidance would be appreciated.
