Washington, DC Conservative synagogue is looking for a new librarian. The collection is about 16,000 volumes, and serves a congregation of approximately 1,800 families. Responsibilities include acquisitions, cataloging, some minimal fund-raising, and working with congregants, religious school administration, and the rabbis, as well as reading to and teaching religious school classes and story-time with the nursery school classes. The position is for 20 hours a week, basically full days Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and Sunday mornings until 12:30 or 1:00.
