I was very excited to learn from June Cummins at the recent convention, that October 30, 2004 will be the 100th anniversary of the birth of Sydney Taylor, the famed author of All-of-a-Kind Family who is memorialized by our book and manuscript awards.
I would be interested in any suggestions you all might have about how to recognize and celebrate this anniversary, and especially about how we might be able to use it to gain media attention.
