Rosen is publishing a new series of books about Israeli wars. The
first two titles in the series will be reviewed in the Sept/Oct. 2004 issue
of the AJL Newsletter. NEITHER WILL BE RECOMMENDED. This does not bode
well for the rest of the series.
Israeli wars are covered in other books about Israel. These include
one by Adam Garfinkel which will also reviewed in the Sept./Oct 2004 issue
of the Newsletter as highly recommended. AJL's New Jewish Valuesfinder
contains quite a few books about Israel on a middle school level and
everything in the Valuesfinder is recommended, including the new title by
Garfinkel. To identify them, do a subject search for "Israel." This is
probably your best bet for finding unbiased and accurate information about
Israel and its wars.
