My stepmother, Eva E. Mandel, died last Shabbat. She was the mother I knew from the age of 5. She was a fine woman and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She died after suffering from Alzheimer's for nearly 7 years. She died peacefully in her sleep at home at age 98. Marion M. Stein
