Dear colleagues,
It gives me great pleasure to tell you that my latest book, Bobbie
Rosenfeld: The Olympian Who Could Do Everything (Toronto: Second Story
Press, 2004) has just been nominated for an award sponsored by the Ontario
Library Association (OLA). The award is called the Golden Oak and is
designed for adult literacy students. I'm delighted, because that means the
OLA deems this book suitable for adult readers, many learning English as a
second language. And it won't hurt for them to learn a little about
Canadian Jewish history!
Warm regards, and chag sameach,
Anne Dublin, Librarian
Holy Blossom Temple
Toronto, Canada
