I would like to add my two cents to this discussion, not as a school librarian, but as a parent. The 3rd week in June has always been very difficult for me to get to convention. It is always either: 1)my children's last days of school (awards assemblies, graduations, etc..), or 2)the week between school and camp (shopping, hair cuts, dentist appointments, etc...), or 3)the day we have to drop the children off at camp.
