Dear all,

As someone regularly going to AJS, I have to completely agree with Zachary
on every point he made here, particularly on his assertion of loosing AJL's
autonomy. I also not too crazy about travel in the winter through airport
shot downs for snow and other emergencies which happens quite often. More
over there is never a good time for everyone to agree upon, and after going
to AJL for a number of years, I for one have gotten used to that particular
time slot and can work around it. I too have children in school, father's
day, and both children's birthdays on June 23 and 25, precisely during
AJL. If anything, for those of us who work in academic libraries, work
wise, the early Summer makes more sense, lets say late May/early June.

Very respectfully,

Yelena
