PLEASE EXCUSE CROSS POSTING

I've been lurking on this group for a while and have found the discussions
extremely informative.
My name is Avital Ordan and I'm a librarian at the Harman Science Library,
Hebrew University and at the Western Wall Heritage Foundation (which runs
the Western Wall Tunnels).
The foundation is in the process of creating an interactive educational
program centered on the ways the Jews worldwide remember and incorporate
Jerusalem in their lives, buildings and rituals both currently and in the
past.
We've been able to locate very little material regarding customs, activities
involving Jerusalem and objects or pictures depicting Jerusalem for several
Jewish communities, mainly New World communities: USA, Canada, Australia,
New Zealand and South American countries.
Are you aware of such customs, activities or objects? Do you know anyone
else who may know?
We would be happy to get any lead you may have.
Thank you
Avital Ordan
