We have at Temple Israel, Palm Beach County a 7000 book collection considered to be outstanding in the South Florida area. The idea has been raised that as we build a new Temple we might consider "SPECIALIZING' our collection...American Judaism, Israeli Studies, Reformed Judaism etc. Does anyone out there know of a Temple or JCC that has done this? Any suggestion from the University level on the possibility of doing this? I am having a meeting in a week and I need some ideas. Thanks so much...anyone interest in the answers Ill pass them on.
