We are happy to announce that the catalog of the Jewish National and University Library has been upgraded to the Ex-Libris Aleph-500 system.
The new online catalog brings together many separate collections of the JNUL which are now searchable both individually and as part of the main catalog. Of particular note are the incorporation in the new system of the catalog of the Institute of Microfilmed Hebrew Manuscripts (select database: "Manuscripts") and the Israeli national bibliography (select database: "Qiryat Sefer"). Additional subsets now available are: Israeli publications, 2004- Index of Hebrew songs Index of Yiddish songs In addition to greatly improved search and display capabilities, the new system will also allow us to introduce several new services which will be announced as implemented.
