Dear Jewish Studies Communities,
I just learned from a colleague at Penn, Mary Steiner, about an Israeli
open access inititative website. For those of you interested in the effort
to re-think and transform the current model of scholarly communication, and
the pricing structures now in place for purchasing information resources,
you may wish to visit the Israeli site or perhaps consult the Penn
library's "scholarly commons" website for more information and links to
other such inititatives.

Thanks, Arthur
