The exhibition includes 63 marvelous illustrations of Talmud Tractates
by the Israeli artist Bernard Eliyahu Sidi. The colorful, whimsical,
nuanced depictions inspired by verses from Rosh Hashana, Ta'anit and
Yoma are a wonderful visual accompaniment to the volumes on display.
After the close of the exhibition the framed pictures are due to be
returned to the artist. My husband and I have several pieces by the
artist who lives in Jerusalem. If anyone is interested in acquiring one
or more of the pieces I could make the contact.
