Shelter Rock Jewish Center, Roslyn, NY is seeking an experienced Judaica Librarian with knowledge of Hebrew. This 12 - 15 hour per week position includes 2 weekdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:30pm - 6:30pm, and Sundays 9am - 11:30am. Duties include categorizing all books, updating card files, and computer database; engaging students, ages 5-13, in reading and research activities to develop critical thinking; story time: implementing adult education book reviews and discussions; book selections and organizing a borrowing system; writing monthly articles for synagogue bulletin featuring new library acquisitions. Salary $18. - $21. per hour.
