Hello all:
am catching up on *2* weeks worth of HaSafran postings (due to being out
of town), and have noticed that there seem to have been no replies to the
person who wanted to know about "bookshelves on rails"!
The official term for these is "compact shelving", and there are different
versions -- I have had personal experience with shelves that are
handcranked (one at a time) in order to move them, but I know that they
are also sometimes motorized. There is also "sliding" shelving where the
shelves are in front of each other, rather than side-by-side ...
unfortunately, as my area is Acquisitions, I don't know which supplier
people get compact shelving from.
Best,
Kimberley Shaw
