Dear Colleagues,

 >From time to time I come across news items which I share on Hasafran.
All I do is pass on the information, for the benefit of those who may
not have seen it.
And yet, some of you see fit to punish me for my good deed.

Frequently, and invariably, after each message I forward, that has nothing
whatsoever to do with me personally, or the institution I work for,
I get questions (or klotz kashes) regarding said message,
as if I wrote it with my own hand...

I have always thought that librarians, as information specialists,
have a higher than average IQ, which would direct them to ask further
questions to the conference organizers, or the book publishers,
rather than other the naive shnook, who passed on a particular item of info.

You don't believe me? See below what I got as a reaction to my recent
forwarding of the CFP for the forthcoming MORITZ-STEINSCHNEIDER
CENTENNARY CELEBRATION.
The announcement did include the e-mail address of the organizers,
to whom all questions should be directed, yet some of you preferred
to address their
comments or concerns to the poor messenger. Yidn, have mercy!
