The New York Metropolitan Area Chapter of the Association of Jewish Libraries (AJL-NYMA) presents its annual Day School/High School Workshop on Wednesday, April 26, 2006, 1-4 pm, at the Ramaz Upper School.
PROGRAM: Teaching Library Skills in the Day School/High School: A Demonstration - Chaya Wiesman, Librarian, Ramaz Upper School, will demonstrate a PowerPoint presentation that she has developed for teaching library skills at the Ramaz Upper School. Promoting Positive Relationships Between the School Library and the School Faculty: A Group Discussion - Esther Nussbaum, Head Librarian, Ramaz Upper School, will facilitate a discussion about forging a relationship between librarians and teachers. Please come prepared to share your ideas and experiences! REGISTRATION: *Please RSVP by April 25 to reserve a place.* Payment is at the door, NYMA members, $10, non-members, $18.
