Two Reviews in the Forward (?2005?)
Recent Works : Two Studies of the life and works of Maimonides, the
Rambam
Shalom Litrayot,
About a year ago as many institutions celebrated Maimonides
800th Anniversary, I recall two reviews of newly published studies
of the work and life of the Rambam were printed on the same page
of the FORWARD. I clipped it and lost it. One review was of
a work by Sherwin Nuland. The other book was reviewed on the same
page
in the Forward, but I have been unable to locate its title or author.
It is surely the less "popular" of the two, yet the review caught my
interest,
and I would appreciate help in locating the title and author, please?
