First off, I wanted to send a huge thank you to the Boston Convention Committee, Avi Chai and everyone involved in the 2006 AJL Convention. It was a wonderful experience, full of great people, interesting sessions and fabulous food! In the session that Marsha Lustigman of the Bialik School in Montreal and I presented for Avi Chai librarians on Monday evening (Putting the We in the Worldwide Web) on Web2.0 and social software, we introduced a wiki for day school librarians on which we can share best practices and other information. Please take a look at www.jewishschoollibraries.pbwiki.com We would love to have input from lots of you - you don't even have to be a day school librarian! For those of you who have not encountered a wiki before, it is a collaboratively edited webpage - so we can all add to it. To prevent vandalism, I have password protected the editing function, so please email me if you would like the password. The wiki includes a guide to editing a wiki, as it does have its own idiosyncracies - but it is easy to get the hang of, and I think it can be a great resource for all of us.
