Dr. Liliane Willens has completed a memoir of her life in Shanghai where she was born to Jewish parents who emigrated from Russia. She is looking for an agent for this book, preferably a Jewish one. Dr. Willens grew up during a turbulent political era--civil wars, Japanese occupation of Chine, fighting between the armies of Chiang Kai-shek and Mao-Tse-tung, takeover of China by the communist People's Republic of China, and the two years she lived under that regime before being able to immigrate to the U.
