Job Description
Yeshiva University is seeking a motivated and efficient individual to 
assist in acquisitions and book processing at the Mendel Gottesman 
Library of Hebraica/Judaica. (This is not a professional librarian position.)
Primary tasks include:
Book ordering and receiving - Generate firm orders electronically, by 
mail, and using the Virtua Library System; handle materials upon 
arrival; open boxes and check contents against invoices; prepare 
invoices for payment and ship returns to vendors.
Processing - Using the Virtua Electronic System enter acquisitions 
data for approval plan items, update data for firm order items upon receipt.
Binding - Prepare and ship books to bindery and process them when 
they are received.

Required Experience
Advanced knowledge of Hebrew, computer literacy.
Library experience preferred.

Education Requirements
BA preferred.
