Thank you Yoel Sheridan for the evocative excerpt from your longer
work. Not too many years ago there was a wonderful feature film made
in Britain about two young brothers who were evacuated to Brighton (I
think) and had to stay with a non-Jewish married couple, who were
rather 'mean' to them in many ways - I won't give away the plot more
than that. Perhaps someone
on the list will remember the name of the film?
