THE KIDS¹ FUN BOOK OF JEWISH TIME, by Emily Sper.

THROUGH COLORFUL, CLEVER PAPER ENGINEERING, THE JEWISH CALENDAR
COMES ALIVE FOR KIDS
Lift! Turn! Pull! Learn!

Teaching children the concepts of Jewish time can be a challenge‹until now.
Through interactive and educational fun, children and parents can now
explore the Jewish calendar together, finding answers to questions such as,
how do we count days? When does Shabbat begin and end? What is the
connection between a new moon and a new month?

Emily Sper, writes, illustrates and designs Jewish children¹s books and
games. Hanukkah: A Counting Book in English, Hebrew, and Yiddish and The
Passover Seder have become favorites of parents and children. She has worked
in the children¹s book field as a book designer for over a decade. A
graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design (B.F.A.), New York University
(M.A.), and Hebrew College (Me¹ah), Emily divides her time among graphic
design, fine art photography, and visiting schools to talk about books and
bookmaking. She lives in Newton, Massachusetts.
