Good evening, I hope this question is appropriate for the forum.
I founded and run a children's library in my San Francisco Bay Area synagogue, as a volunteer. (I am an MLS.) Today, a congregant approached me and asked what salary I would require to come on board as a part-time employee, so that I could really turn the library into the programming-rich resource I want it to be. She is a person who could make this happen. So--I wonder if anyone would be willing to share (confidentially) any information with me about the appropriate salary/hourly range for a part-time librarian in a 750-800 member unit congregation?
