Dear AJL members in New England,
By now, most of us have hopefully recovered from the June convention,
and it seems time for us to get together, now, as a newly energized
chapter! Judith Segal, Director of the Hebrew College Library, has
kindly agreed to host our first meeting of the new year, FRIDAY
NOVEMBER 17, 9:30 - 12:00, at Hebrew College, in Newton, MA. Judith
will also be giving a presentation on the topic of Think in a blink!
or, don't think at all.
Below, is a tentative agenda for this meeting:
9:30 - 10:00/ coffee, tea, muffins, shmooze
10:00 - 10:45 / D''var torah/ Welcome to newcomers/ Post-convention
thoughts, ideas, issues/ Convention
2007 in Scottsdale, AZ
10:45 - 11:30 / "Think in a Blink..." by Judith Segal, Director of
the Hebrew College Library
11:30 - 12:00 / What do we want to do next? Brainstorming for future
chapter meetings
12:00 - Lunch will NOT be served, BUT, there is a very nice kosher
cafeteria @ Hebrew College; and lots of places to eat in nearby
Newton Center.
PLEASE NOTE: Hebrew College is a kosher facility, and does not allow
outside food of any kind to be brought in.

Center MBTA station (Riverside/Green line)
Parking will be available in the Hebrew College lot.
