I'm assuming you mean actual game-playing rather than
fictional "sports movies".

If you are interested in the latter, I enjoyed
watching the following film that made its Canadian
premiere at the Toronto Jewish Film Festival earlier
this year :

WINNING WITH MIKI
ISRAEL 2005, 76 min
Hebrew
Director: Ori Inbar
Writer: Mirit Yossipov
Cast: Noy Gur, Rami Heuberger, Orna Banai

Take a tomboy with basketball skills, an angry former
basketball star, and some magical realism courtesy of
a fairy godmother, and you get a charming story of a
young girl’s determination to rise above sexism and
personal hurdles. After she is refused a spot on the
high school basketball team, feisty Miki wins over a
legendary, reclusive basketball star—and the two soon
set about proving the team wrong to help Miki take her
rightful spot on the team. This is one inspiring film
that proves that hard work, determination, and a
little girl power can take you to the top.
