I know of two Avraham Avinu stories about his childhood: A Little Boy Named Avram by Dina Rosenfeld (Hachai Publishing) and Who Is the Builder? by Genendel Krohn (Feldheim Publishers. There are two excellent books about welcoming guests published by Hachai Publishing: Who's That Sleeping on My Sofabed? by Ruby M. Grossblatt and Much, Much Better by Chaim Kosofsky.
