I am a law student at the University of Toronto. My professor, Kristen Rundle, gave me your e-mail address, saying that you may be able to help me. I am researching the community structures within the ghetto and how those structures contributed to the normalcy of everyday life.
In particular, I am trying to focus on the legal systems within the ghetto. This may be through formal court systems or how Jewish law was adapted to ghetto life. Any resources which would touch upon these issues would be of great assistance to me.
