Shalom Safranim

This may seem like a shot in the dark, but I have in my collection
what I recall is a Hebrew book published in the 1920s that consists
entirely of photographs of Hebrew/Yiddish authors decoratively framed
in wreaths of leaves. I know that it included a picture of Abraham
Goldfaden and a picture of Judah Leo Landau (South African rabbi and
Hebrew poet/ playwright), both of which I would like to incorporate
in a publication. The problem is that I dont know the title or the
author, and am not having much luck finding the book under subject.
Does this ring any bells for anyone?
