INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH SUPPORT PROGRAMME Invitation for applications TO RECEIVE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR STUDY OF THE JEWISH CULTURE AND HISTORY,VILNIUS, LITHUANIA Seeking for a more active involvement of international academic community in the Jewish history and heritage studies, as well as their promotion and presentation to the society, The Centre for Studies of the Culture and History of East European Jews announces the forth research competition. The programme supports the researchers from Lithuania and countries around the region (Belarus, Estonia, Latvia, Poland). The applicants may be researchers, groups of researchers or scholarly institutions running various projects and studies on the history, culture and heritage of the Jewish communities in the region. Projects submitted for the competition, must be carried out until December 15, 2007. Deadline for the submissions - February 15, 2007.
