Job Title:

   Synagogue & Religious School Librarian


Job Description:

   Part-time (approx 20/hpw) school and synagogue Librarian for

Conservative congregation, Afternoon Religious School, and Nursery
School. Duties include managing the 3000+ title collection, assisting

and teaching library skills and promoting library programs to students

and adults, updating the library automation project, encouraging library

use and expanding resources, reading to and planning library related

programs for nursery school and religious children, developing monthly

library column in newsletter.



Job Requirements:

   Knowledge of Hebrew and Judaica preferable; experience in library

systems and in synagogue or similar libraries desired, but not required,

desire to learn as we grow; works well with both children and adults;

available Sunday mornings, 9am-1pm.



Employment Type:

   Part-Time.  Sunday's and 2 week day afternoons during September - June.

Summer as needed.

   Available at interview
