Hello all, My library (about 7000 vols.) will be relocating to a new building (on the same property as our current facility). We will have to close in late Spring with re-opening in early '08.
I've been through this routine before, with books packed in cartonsĀ .I'm trying to find other ways to accommodate our needs and keep the library functioning during the transition. I seem to remember reading a post about renting library carts to use for book storage during a transition time like this. If you know of a supplier for such cart rentals, please adviseĀ Also, any other ideas about "creative" ways to deal with the move would be much appreciated. Many thanks, Amy Kaplan, Librarian Bell Library Congregation Beth El 8000 Main Street Voorhees, NJ 08043 (856-675-1166, ext. 305) [EMAIL PROTECTED] Messages and opinions expressed on Hasafran are those of the individual author and are not necessarily endorsed by the Association of Jewish Libraries (AJL) =========================================================== Submissions for Ha-Safran, send to: Hasafran @ lists.acs.ohio-state.edu SUBscribing, SIGNOFF commands send to: Listproc @ lists.acs.ohio-state.edu Questions, problems, complaints, compliments;-) send to: galron.1 @ osu.edu Ha-Safran Archives: Current: http://www.mail-archive.com/hasafran%40lists.acs.ohio-state.edu/maillist.html History: http://www.mail-archive.com/hasafran%40lists.acs.ohio-state.edu/history.html AJL HomePage http://www.JewishLibraries.org
