Our school has recently formed a "Diversity Committee" of parents and teachers that is committed to creating an inclusive community dedicated to fostering a respect and appreciation for the similarities and differences found within our school and throughout the world. Some of the areas we are presently trying to address deal with Jewish racial and ethnic diversity and issues of adoption, family and physical disabilities. We are interested in hearing from other schools, libraries, synagogues and community centers that have a similar committee and/or who have sponsored successful programs/workshops on this subject matter.
