Safranim --

My synagogue is undergoing a major project, starting next
spring. Our library is already boxed (and labeled), but they've
asked me to help with other aspects of the process.

A series of questions:
Have other synagogues completely left their space for
extended periods? We expect (hope) to be gone for about 2 years,
while our building (except for the Sanctuary and Social hall) are
razed and rebuilt. It's not yet clear how much of our equipment will
be used and how much will need storage.
I'd be interested in having documentation about these
projects. If you didn't do it yourselves but know of others who have
done it, I'd be interested in knowing who and where they are.
We're starting with a few pieces from the URJ and the
Archives in Cincinnati, but any additional help would be extremely valuable.

I know this isn't precisely a Library question, but would like any
help that can be provided. Respond off-list.

Thanks,
