Dear Colleagues,

My name is Beth Bernstein and I am the Program Manager of the Samberg
Family History Program at the Center for Jewish History in Manhattan.
I am looking to fill a few summer staff positions and hoping that you
can help me.

The Samberg Program is an academic (history and genealogy) summer
fellowship for high school teens from July 2 - 27, 2007. We are
currently looking for two Instructors, two Assistant Instructors and
four College Interns for this summer.

In an Instructor, we are looking for a master’s or doctoral candidate
in the field of Jewish Studies or history, preferably with some
experience in genealogy (but not necessary) and informal education
with teens. This person should be someone who likes and relates well
to teenagers.

In an Assistant Instructor, we are looking for a student above the
age of 21. S/he should be a master’s candidate (serious undergrads
will also be considered) in the field of Jewish Studies or history,
preferably with some experience in genealogy (but not necessary.)
This person should also be someone who likes and relates well to teenagers.

For the program interns, we would like 4 undergraduate students that
are responsible and would like to learn more about genealogy, while
helping others to do the same. Complete descriptions of these
positions are below. Please contact me if you may be able to help us.

Thank you so much!
Beth Bernstein
