comprehensive overviews you might want to look at:

by Heskel M. Haddad. New York : Shengold Publishers, c1984.
as well as the primary source documents in Stillman's:
The Jews of Arab lands : a history and source book / [compiled by]
Norman A. Stillman. 1st ed. Philadelphia : Jewish Publication Society
of America, c1979.
and
The Jews of Arab lands in modern times / Norman A. Stillman.
Philadelphia : The Jewish Publication Society, 1991. For individual
countries, there are a variety of works. I hope that this has been
