I recommend a vote for candidate number 91, Librarian Greg McClay,
who runs <http://shush.ws/>http://shush.ws/

Another point of view is sorely needed on ALA Council and he would
bring that.
He opposes the anti-Israel organizers in ALA.

One does not have to vote for as many people as are allowed per
ballot (33 of the 103 candidates). Voting for just one person gives
that vote more weight.

Targeted voting by casting just a few votes is the method the
anti-Israel group in ALA says they use to get their top choice of
candidates elected. This group also has a big membership to start
with, so the effect is multiplied.

So if you weren't going to vote at all in the ALA elections, please
go ahead and vote for Greg McClay.
