I've been looking again for statistics on best-selling Jewish books and authors. I came across a citation that said Diary of Anne Frank has sold 25 million copies. This is only half the total books sold by Jenkins and LaHaye--their Left Behind Series, and millions less than Brown Da Vinci Code. I assume Elie Wiesel to be the living Jewish author with the most books sold, but can't find any verification or figures. One source said that Joseph Telushkin is the best-selling author, and that Jewish Literacy has sold 200,000 copies altogether. I also wonder about Tom Friedman's total sales. Michael Oren's Six Days of War is said to have sold 250,000 -- I can't believe it has outsold Jewish Literacy. So...does anyone know of a reliable source for these kinds of statistics?
