The topic for the CEU class at convention is Learn Israel: small
country, big ideas It will be taught by Susan Dubin, and
participants will be able to earn .5 CEU credits through the
University of Wisconsin.
The course will enable librarians to have a better understanding of
Israel and enable them to evaluate their Israel resources and
supplement them where necessary. A differentiated learning approach
will be used so librarians will be able to adapt materials for the
needs of individual patrons and the school curriculum.
In these times where all of us may find ourselves in a position where
we can support Israel through providing true and accurate information
to our friends and neighbors in our communities, this course is
extremely relevant.
