Nutrilicious: A Kosher Vegetarian Whole Foods Cookbook (with a Smile!)

Recipes, Wisdom and Humor for a Healthy Lifestyle

““Nutrilicious” is not just a cookbook; it is a multi-faceted
experience. With its scrumptious food served with dollops of satire,
“Nutrilicious” makes delicious fare for the reader.” - Richard H.
Schwartz, President of Jewish Vegetarians of North America.

“…much more entertaining in its personal and humorous style than
the usual cookbooks, and responds to a most important need.” –
Professor Jonathan Halevy, Director General of the Shaare Zedek
Medical Center, Jerusalem.

“Nutrilicious” is not just a vegetarian cookbook; it is a passionate
call to healthier living, although never preachy or
threatening. “Nutrilicious” is completely unique among new kosher
cookbooks. Far more than a collection of recipes, “Nutrilicious” is
filled with over 170 easy-to-do recipes for everyday, as well as
upgraded ones for Shabbos, holidays and elegant entertaining,
aphorisms, whimsical rhymes, humorous stories, together with the most
well-researched, up-to-date health information.

Author Edith Rothschild is a woman on a mission. After years of
suffering from debilitating back pain and joint inflammations, she
decided to take her health into her own hands. One of the major
changes she made was switching to a plant-based diet which gradually
transformed her life. One of her guiding mottos is: “We should want
more from life than just a pain-free existence.” With “Nutrilicious”
Rothschild shares her decades of experience and knowledge in a
sophisticated manner with anyone ready for an enlightened and fun experience.

The recipe section consists of the following chapters:

About the Author:

Edith Rothschild received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English
Literature from the University of Toronto, and her Master of Arts
degree in Counseling Psychology from the Adler Professional School of
Psychology. She is also a Certified Bach Flower Remedy counselor.
After having suffered for many years with osteoarthritis and its many
painful and debilitating side effects, she decided to add ‘holistic
health’ to her curricula. She studied extensively the field of
nutrition, particularly vegetarianism and a Whole Natural Foods Diet
and, thus, learned first hand the connection between disease,
de-toxifying, a plant-based diet and healing. She gave diet workshops
in Toronto and Jerusalem before deciding to share her knowledge and
experiences with a wider audience.
