The New York Times website itself has a search engine, though it probably requires a paid subscription to access certain articles. The "advanced" search engine isn't as "advanced" as the kinds I'm used to using. There is no "column name" field, just "Author", "Headline" and the standard "Your Search" box which seems to be a keyword field. If you type "Lives" in the headline, you will get every article with the word "Lives" in it, but that does include several of the Lives columns, indicated by the word LIVES in caps followed by a semicolon and the actual headline. 7,465 total results from my search. If it were possible to display alphabetically by title, one could skip down to the first "LIVES;" article and then copy-&-paste all the results below that. Good luck!
