Dear Safranim:

We are very proud to introduce this new literary publication, Drash,
and I will have some sample copies to distribute at the upcoming AJL
conference. Most of the writers in this first issue are Jewish
and/or have written poetry or short stories on Jewish topics. I was
fortunate to hear a few of the writers read from their work and have
been impressed with the high caliber of creative writing.

I'm chair of the library committee at Temple Beth Am in Seattle and
am posting this wearing that hat and on behalf of Wendy Marcus,
editor of Drash. There is currently no librarian at Beth
Am. Subscriptions are available for $11. Please contact Wendy (info
below) for more information.
