There will be at least one opening on the Sydney Taylor Manuscript Award Committee for next year.
The Committee's mandate is to read, evaluate, and select an outstanding manuscript by an unpublished author. Full rules and timetable are available on the AJL website. I would very much like to fill the opening in time for Convention so that committee members can meet and discuss the selection process. Please email me a brief resume and a sample review or writing sample. Interested individuals should have some experience in reviewing books or manuscripts although they need not have published reviews.
