Thanks to all who responded to my post seeking librarians from "tiny
libraries" to meet each other at the conference.

I am looking forward to meeting more "tiny" library people to share
experiences of those who wear many hats (cataloging, circulation,
marketing, programs, strategic planning, budgeting, website
development, system administration, fundraising, janitorial services,
etc....) to perhaps pool resources (e.g., splitting an order of 100
brochures, etc. from Jewish Book Council, etc.) and for a social
network as well.

Per a couple of "veteran" responses, I'd like to encourage those
librarians to attend the roundtable session Monday morning
(8:30-10am) that best matches your role - (Part of the dilemma of my
"tiny" library is that it serves many roles - center/synagogue,
elementary grades, middle school, high school, etc. - , I wish I had
a clone to go to all 3 roundtables... centers/synagogues fits most
areas best for me). After that session, I'll stick around the
Sonora D3 area to meet anyone interested in getting together at a
later time - then we'll try to put together a table at the Awards Lunch.

At my first AJL conference (Oakland) I was struck by the magnitude
of larger libraries - resources, specialization, etc. - great
resources and a wealth of knowledge and expertise - and an amazingly
wonderful willingness to help. The conference is a wonderful place
to meet the "famous faces" from the AJL newsletter and website,
mentors, hasafran, podcasts, etc. and also to meet others who may not
have the expertise to participate at that level. I am excited to meet both.

I look forward to seeing you in Phoenix.
